Dairy Breeds

The majority of dairy cattle in the USA are Holstein Friesian.

         Other breeds include

      Jersey, Brown Swiss,

Red & White Holstein, Guernsey, Ayrshire, and Milking Shorthorn.

The USA is the greatest source of beef genetics anywhere in the world. Some of the more popular breeds are: Brahman, Red Brahman, Brangus, Red Brangus. Angus, Red Angus, Hereford, Braford, Simmental, Simbra, Charolais, Charbray, and Beef Master.
